Prime Minister signs future heirloom

Prime Minister John Key took a few minutes out of his hectic schedule to sign the reverse side of a beautiful handmade Christmas quilt which is being raffled over the next month to raise funds for the Kaikoura Electorate National Party.

The 4’8 x 4’4 quilt was made and donated by Cathie Ferguson who is well known throughout Marlborough for her skilful and prolific quality quilt craft.

The quilt will be on display at the Rangiora and Canterbury Royal A&P Shows where tickets for the raffle can be purchased and yes the original looks even better than the photo!
